People of Faith Foundation.
Generosity is the core of our community.
The People of Faith Foundation is our 501 (c) (3) tax exempt charitable organization that is committed to the belief that aging with dignity and grace includes freedom from financial worry. The Foundation was created to aid the mission of Royal Oaks by accepting charitable gifts and supporting projects and programs to help all Royal Oaks current and future residents and employees. The Foundation is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors separate from Royal Oaks’ Board of Trustees.
Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible as charitable contributions.
Several funds have been established where donations can be earmarked:
Transforming the future of health and wellness: The first goal in this category will be the construction of The Vida Center, a therapy/wellness building designed to accommodate a number of medical and health-related services to ALL residents and staff members.
Enriching resident lives: This broad category includes lifelong learning, enhancing the campus through a myriad of ways (beautification and technology), broadening the art and music programs, and much more.
Caring for employees: Employee appreciation takes two paths here—contributions to the Employee Appreciation Fund (can be done year round) and to the Scholarship Program. Investing in our team members helps with recruiting and retaining good employees.
Benevolent care: We’ve always promised “a home for life” and the Foundation’s Benevolent Care Fund assures residents who may outlive their money will always been taken care of here.
All donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible, and a certain fund need not be specified. In fact, unrestricted donations are the most common. The Foundation is also very grateful to receive notification from donors that The People of Faith Foundation has been named in their estate plans in some fashion. This could be through your will or trust, life insurance, retirement account, charitable annuity or trust, refundable entrance fee, or some other way. Please contact our Development Office at 623-815-4131 when planning or researching this type of gift, as we can provide guidance and resources that might be helpful.
