Midwestern University’s Bright Light, Shining Stars Gala last weekend was a celebration honoring the University’s scholarship recipients and business partners. Royal Oaks Board of Trustees Chair, Carol Bryan, accepted the COMET award (Community Outreach: Motivating Excellence for Tomorrow) for Royal Oaks, which recognizes exemplary commitment to community service. Many residents and staff members attended the gala. “Our partnership with Midwestern continues to flourish,” said Royal Oaks CEO Kendra Eberhart. “In addition to the dental clinic they run on our campus, their pharmacy and therapy students augment their classroom learning with hands-on experience at our community.
