The Mimosa Apartment, 1,204 sq ft - A residence built for fun

Our Mimosa apartment may not be named after the refreshing brunch drink, but the two do seamlessly blend a clean and contemporary feel with casual elegance. In Apartment 117, open spaces lend this layout its uncanny ability to entertain large or small groups, yet creates intimacy for the ones calling it home every day. Designed without hallways, the Mimosa’s 1,204 sq. ft. is nearly always described as “much larger than that!”

A magnificent master and fabulous finishes

One of the highlights of the Mimosa is its sumptuous master retreat. The 19-foot-long master bedroom includes a private bath and walk-in closet. Some residents have even chosen to design this large room to incorporate hobby space. Ask to see the artist studio that one resident incorporated into the Mimosa’s master bedroom!

Simply put, this apartment comes upgraded with everything. Vertiglides on the Arcadia door keep the upscale look as you move to the generously sized patio, which is also accessible from the home’s second bedroom. String up some fun lights and bring on the guests any night of the week!

Nestled near all the activity

As a bonus, this home is very close to a community social area, extending your living space if your guest list is extensive. And when we throw your housewarming party, our catering department’s appetizers and specialty drinks will have your friends clamoring to move in, too!

Apartment 117 is a very short walk to The Acorn Grill, The Oak Room and the Arbors, our three dining restaurants offering fare ranging from casual to elegant. Relax first in the Cactus Pub or the pool patio, letting our wait staff make your favorite cocktail before heading in for dinner. Or grab a quick bite after a yoga or Zumba class in our Evergreen Fitness Center, where the indoor and outdoor pools are ready day or night for your enjoyment.

Want to completely decorate your own Mimosa apartment? Apartment 319 is the same layout and has a remarkable view of trees and the neighborhood, with the mountains in the background. It’s ready for you to choose all your favorite finishes and furnishings and make it uniquely your own. Ask to see both apartments on your visit to Royal Oaks.

Of course, in addition to a no-maintenance lifestyle in beautiful surroundings, a primary reason people move to a Type A Life Plan Community (also known as CCRCs) is the security knowing you will never again need to relocate, and your monthly fee won’t increase if you need a higher level of living. To dive deeper, ask about our refundable and non-refundable Type A choices when you call 623-815-4132 to arrange for a personal tour of the Mimosa apartment at Royal Oaks!
